For all food enthusiasts, the must-attend event is Mortadella Please, scheduled from October 9th to 11th, 2026, in the historic center of Zola Predosa.
As every year, there will be food stalls offering mortadella prepared in a variety of ways, featuring both traditional and innovative recipes. The event will also include talks, in-depth sessions, and workshops, as well as a dedicated area for children.
The program features visits to the Alcisa and Felsineo facilities—the leading mortadella producers in the Bologna area.
For three days, the town center will welcome visitors with tastings of original and traditional mortadella-based dishes, performances, educational sessions, and themed entertainment for the whole family.
Also from October 3 to 11, the exhibition "I Naifs del Po a Mortadella, please" will be held in the Galleria dell’Arengo at the Zola Predosa Town Hall. During the exhibition, a work dedicated to the International Mortadella Festival by painter Paolo "Pavel" Incerti will be unveiled. The exhibition can be visited during Town Hall opening hours. Opening ceremony: Saturday, October 3, at 10:00 AM.
